Data Deletion Instructions

Last updated October 26, 2026

You can ask us to delete your ReelCritix account and everything stored with it at any time. This includes accounts created with Google, Facebook, email or a phone number.

Just your videos?

You can delete any video yourself: open Studio and press Delete on it. The stored file is removed straight away.

How to delete your account

  1. Go to the contact page and choose Privacy or data deletion.
  2. Use the email address on your account (or, for a phone sign-in, include the phone number), and say you want your account deleted.
  3. We may reply to confirm the request came from you. Then we delete the data and email you when it is done, within 30 days.

If you have a monthly Studio plan, it is cancelled as part of the deletion.

What is deleted

  • Your sign-in account and profile.
  • Your watchlist and forum posts.
  • Your Studio videos, prompts, start images, history and credit balance. Unused credits cannot be returned once the account is deleted, so use them first.
  • Edits you suggested that are now part of the catalogue stay, but are no longer linked to you.

What is kept, and why

  • Records of payments, for as long as tax and accounting law requires. Stripe keeps its own records under its policy.
  • The one-way code that stops the free credits being claimed twice. It cannot be turned back into your email address or number.
  • Database backups, which expire on their own within seven days.

Signed in with Facebook?

You can also remove ReelCritix from your Facebook account under Settings, then Apps and Websites. That stops Facebook sharing anything further with us; to delete what we already hold, send the request above as well.

See the Privacy Policy for everything the site collects.
