These terms apply when you use ReelCritix, including Studio. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
Who can use the site
You must be at least 13 to have an account, and an adult to buy credits. You are responsible for what happens under your account, so keep your sign-in details to yourself.
Reviews, ratings and contributions
Reviews are the opinions of the critics who write them. When you post in the forums or suggest an edit, you confirm you have the right to share it, and you let us display, edit for length or clarity, and keep it on the site. We may remove anything that breaks these terms or the law.
Studio credits
- One credit is one US cent. The price of a clip is shown before you make it.
- Credits are not money: they have no cash value and cannot be transferred or sold. Bought credits do not expire.
- A clip that fails is refunded in credits automatically. A finished clip is not refundable, because the model has already been paid for it.
- Purchases are final, except where the law gives you a right to a refund. A refunded payment or a chargeback takes back the credits it bought.
- Monthly plans renew until you cancel them, which you can do at any time from Manage plan. Cancelling stops future payments; credits you already have stay yours.
- Payments are processed by Stripe, with Link as the merchant of record, and their terms apply to the payment itself. Prices are before tax, which is added at checkout where it applies.
- The one-time free credits are limited to one per person, expire after 30 days, and make videos that carry a ReelCritix watermark. We may end the offer or refuse it where it is being abused.
Studio videos
You must follow the Studio rules: no sexual content, nothing involving minors in any harmful way, no real people without their consent, and no other studios' characters or franchises. You must have the right to use any image you upload.
Your prompts, images and videos are yours. You let us process and store them to run Studio. You may use your videos as you wish, within the law and the terms of the model that made them; AI output may resemble other work, and you are responsible for how you use it. We do not use your videos to promote the site without your permission.
Not allowed
Breaking the law; harassing, impersonating or misleading people; infringing someone else's rights; uploading malware; scraping or overloading the site; trying to get around payments, limits or safety checks; or making several accounts to claim free credits again. We may suspend or close accounts that do any of these, and unused credits on an account closed for breaking these terms are lost.
Copyright complaints
If you believe something on the site infringes your rights, contact us with the page, the work concerned and how to reach you, and we will look at it promptly.
No guarantees
The site and Studio are provided as they are. We work to keep them accurate and running but cannot promise they always will be, or that a model will make exactly what you asked for. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Changes and ending
We may change these terms; the date at the top shows when they last changed, and using the site after a change means you accept it. You can stop using the site and delete your account at any time.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Nothing here takes away rights you have under the consumer law of the place you live.
